Skype apod. nevidí web kameru

Webkamera Microsoft WX800, systém W XP, Skype poslední verze. Bez změny konfigurace přestala fungovat webkamera, respektive Skype hlásí, že žádnou nevidí. Předtím fungovala v pořádku. Zkusil jsem jiný USB slot, podíval jsem se radši do msconfigu, jestli jsem něco omylem nevypnul po startu, znovu jsem instaloval nový Skype a nic. Nainstaloval program s ovladačem Microsoft LifeCam ale ten taky nepomohl a kameru nevidí. Přitom jsem ale stáhl program Camdiag a ten kameru při testování v pohodě spustí a kamera funguje. Zkoušel jsem při tom, když je kamera aktivní spustit Skype, ale ten pořád hlásí, že žádnou nenašel.

btw. Není to můj počítač, jen o občas musím dát do kupy, takže nemůžu 100% tvrdit, co se dělo mezi funguje - nefunguje, ale žádné odinstalace, změny HW bych nečekal.

Zkus odstranit ovladač kamery manuálně ze systému. Pomocí: Ovládací panely -> Správce zařízení. Pak nechat systém kameru nainstalovat automaticky (když nepomůže, tak manuálně). Mělo by to pomoct.

Nevím proč ale u mě paradoxně na systému Windows nejvíc zlobí periferie Microsoftu
