Spolehlivý RAID controller

2 soban: Jak se můžeš dočíst např. tady http://diit.cz/clanek/zkusenosti-s-pevnymi-disky-western-digital-red/diskuse, disk je nastaven na TLER a to velmi agresivní. Je to funkčně úplně stejný disk jako WD Red. A stejně jako Red tento disk neparkuje hlavy.

Neřekl bych že to budou úplně stejné HDD pak by se RED a další nemusely vyrábět....

Nějaká zrada tam bude.

Osobně bych HDD určený pro video na nas nedával.

Ahoj, nejak tu nepadlo (nebo jsem si nevsiml) k cemu je servrik/nas vyuzivan? Domaci pouziti? Mala firma?
Jde mi o to jestli ma cenu se trapit s RAIDem (HW/SW) a Win Serverem

Je na domácí použití. A dopředu říkám, že z důvodu kompatibility s aplikacemi a možností programovat v .NET a následně spouštět tyto aplikace na serveru nechci žádný FreeNAS nebo něco podobného.

FreeNAS je na domaci pouziti kanon na vrabce. Ja zakotvil u (placeneho) UnRaidu - vyhnul by ses reseni problemu s RAID radicem, WinServer muze bezet jako virtualni stroj.
