Notebook Asus N45SF a nejake tie problemy

Zdravím, mám tento notebook a problemy tiez... Tento text som pisal na jedno anglicke forum a nechce sa mi zas cely opis preklad...


PROBLEM:

Hi guys, I have this notebook:

Processor: Intel Core i3 2310M (2,1 GHz, 3 MB L3)
Chipset: Intel HM65
GPU: Intel HD Graphics / NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M, 1 GB DDR3
Display: 14” 1366×768, LED, lesklý povrch
RAM: 4 GB DDR3, 1333 MHz
HDD: Seagate 640 GB, 5400 RPM
LAN, Wi-Fi, BT 3.0, 2× USB 3.0, 1× USB 2.0, D-SUB, HDMI

And I have this 2 main problems:


1. performance problem. If I play a game without cable pluged in only on ntb battery I have lags in games and computer work slow... Sometimes there is 1second freez I dont have battery saving mod enbaled I am using entertainment mod so it is not power saving what is causing problem. But when I plug in notebook with cabel everything start to work normally - fast.. etc. But in some games I still feel that my GPU underclock sometimes. For example - I am playing Skyrim on beautiful 50 fps then suddenly after 15 seconds there is small freez.. And this happens every 15 sec.


2. problem - sometimes i feel that the audio isnt working properly.. I mean that the sound isnt very quality or the sound lags-stutter. Its not often usually in games but sometimes also when i am watching youtube videos I have sometimes this audio stutter or low quality audio FTW.

Je pekné že tebe sa nechce nič prekladať ale chce sa ti aby niekto za teba si dal námahu tvoj problém otvoriť a min. si ho prečítať (asi rovnaká hlúposť že?)

K jadru problému ... podobný problém kde sa takto NB choval som už kdesi videl, nie som si istý či to vtedy nevyriešili aktualizácie BIOS + Ovládače grafickej karty ...

Čo sa týka toho podtaktovania grafickej karty ...
V opačnom prípade by sa pravdepodobne jednalo o tep. poistku nakoľko sa NB prehrieva. Tj. to čo popisuješ že si hráš na 50-60 FPS a zrazu príde drop na 15 a pod. S tým som mal skúsenosti u zatiaľ 3. multimediálnych NB kde moc chladeniu výrobca nedal. Problém je že ani reklamácia často nič nerieši nakoľko to môže byť vlastnosť konk. modelu.

S tým zvukom podľa toho čo si tam napísal, ťažko poviem. Úplne som tomu problému nepochopil ale ani som sa s ničím takým nestretol.

To zadání je vtipný: "I have this notebook" a kromě konfigurace nenapíše nic.

Jinak odpovědi (dnes ráno jsem samaritán):

Ad 1) Normal behavior. Notebooks protect their batteries from overload by reducing performance (when on battery the notebook never runs at full speed because the battery may not be able to handle such a load - when full load the computer may consume up to 100 Watts or more energy, which is a consumption to which the battery is not designed, moreover the quality of today's batteries is poor, which is exactly why the manufacturers protect themselves this way).

Ad 2) Have no clue. Check software, drivers, utilities and game updates. Or contact tech support.

Next time try to search it out yourself, I've read about these throttling issues like 9 months ago and they fixed it with BIOS update. Dude.

1. You have to play any games with a cable pluged.

2. You have slow internet connection maybe. This problem is not on your side.

patpet: BTW it's been already mentioned here: have you updated the BIOS? It should resolve at least some of the throttling problems but it has nothing to do with reduced performance when on battery, that's a general feature of all laptops, not a bug.

No,I haven't updated Bios. Because I am not IT guy. I think I will take my notebook to the store and have it updated by technicians. Anyway is it true that this solution solves the problem?

Have no clue - it may help. But most of the so-called "problems" you have are not really problems but features. The sound delay problem is - from my point of view - caused by something else (SW misconfig, drivers and so on). But you may give the BIOS update a try.

'cause on battery nvidia is shut down to sve your energy. Read some docs about NVIDIA optimus you dummy kid!

It's not about Optimus. If you want to play games on the battery, try to disable NVIDIA's PowerMizer feature, which is responsible for GPU underclocking. There are some utilities on the internet.
